The GIRLS of GIRL, episode 2: Paige Goodloe

Paige Goodloe is not only a Grey Room company member – she’s the company’s General Manager and serves on the Executive Board. She’s also performed previously this year in Tallgrass Gothic, and will be in Grey Room’s street theater experiment, Exploded Shakespeare later this summer. She owns a cactus, whose name is Hungarian Horntail.

1. What’s your name?
Paige Maddox Goodloe
2. What’s your role?
Lydia, a 23-year-old college grad
3. What’s your favorite thing about girls?
I love how girls touch things. I think because the concept of femininity is so much related to the body, girls are better tapped in to their sensuality, their sense of touch especially.
4. What’s your least favorite thing about girls?
I hate when girls dumb themselves down because they think it makes them more likeable or attractive. Smart is sexy! And regardless, it is a crime against yourself to be less intelligent than you are.
5. What is your secret awesome talent?
I’m super good at Wheel of Fortune.
6. What’s your favorite thing about this play?
I love that this play gives me a chance to speak directly to the audience! I get to have a totally new experience every night simply because there are new people to talk to.
7. What’s your desert island food?
Singha’s pizza in all topping varieties. But if I have to pick one, it’s black olive.
8. Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?
I’d rather fight 100 duck-sized horses because it would be easier to kick them away.
